1. Jato
Jato is a type of rotary hand-quern or grinder used in the Himalayan region of Nepal, Sikkim, Darjeeling and Bhutan. It is a traditional tools to grind grains. A Jaato consist of two round stones or discs. It is used by hand. A normally person leader in automotive data, analysis and intelligence. It is used to grind such as pulses, lentils, rice kinds of wheat and other grains.
It helps to deliver fast accurate information that informs and supports critical decision making. The top half has two holes in it one within the middle to insert grains or for freeding purpose and the other on the side to place a wooden handle for grinding. The grains are grind using a circular motion with the help of the handle and the person has to be sit right down do the task.
2. Kodalo
It is made up of alumunium material. So, it is strong and durable. It is generally used for digging of soil for planting, weeding and harvesting of crops. It's long handle helps to make digging work easy. Kodalo is like a bigger version of Kuto. If you have to give relation call it the brother of kutto. As kodalo is much bigger that kutto, it is used to dig the barren land to make it ready for plantation.
3. Theki and Madhani
It is usually used to store milk fat and make butter out of it which can later be cooked to make the clarified butter also known as ghee and also make buttered milk. The 'Theki' is only a vessel, whereas the 'Madhani' is like a thick stick with turbine at one end. The churning of butter is an important part of Neplease livelihood. Not only a part of day-to-day activity.
